Duties

- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities using computer systems
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists when necessary
- Lead classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism




- Foster positive behavior through encouragement, guidance, and consistent routines that promote emotional security

Experience

- Prior experience working with young children in a childcare or early childhood education setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are a plus
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs enhances your candidacy
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently and maintain detailed documentation
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children’s families and collaborating with team members
- Proficiency in computer operation, including classroom management software and basic writing skills for record keeping

Pay: $18.25-$30.00 per hour
