Maan Farms is adding scare actors to our Halloween Fright Festival team. We’re a third-generation family farm that has been part of Abbotsford since 1977—and every fall, our actors turn the farm into a completely different world after dark.

We are an actor-based haunt. The sets and costumes create the world; you bring it to life. We’re looking for people who can commit to a character, take direction, support their teammates and give the last group of the night the same energy as the first.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Bring a frightening character to life through movement, voice, timing and improvisation.
- Perform in an assigned scene or attraction, adapting your performance to the guests and direction provided.
- Follow your attraction’s guest-interaction rules and safety procedures, including any limits on physical contact.
- Arrive reliably for scheduled preparation and shifts, look after your costume and props, and help reset your area.
- Work with supervisors and fellow actors, take feedback and keep improving throughout the season.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Creative, dependable people who enjoy Halloween and performing.
- A willingness to try things, take coaching and stay in character.
- The ability to perform an active role involving repeated movement and time on your feet, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
- Comfort with a dark,



loud haunted-attraction environment, flashing lights, theatrical fog, costumes or masks, and outdoor fall weather.
- Reliable transportation to and from Maan Farms in Abbotsford, including late-night finishes.

Haunt, theatre, improv, dance, film, cosplay or other performance experience is an asset. New performers are welcome to show us what they can do. You’ll work to the direction and guest-interaction rules of your assigned attraction.

AVAILABILITY
Evening and weekend availability is essential. Priority goes to applicants available for all scheduled show nights, including Halloween. Depending on the assignment, call times can be between 3 and 5 p.m. Most shifts finish between 10 and 11 p.m. Tell us your actual availability and earliest arrival time—we will confirm your schedule before you accept a position.

Pre-opening event: September 26 — Media Night.
Public show dates:

- October 2–3
- October 8–11
- October 15–18
- October 22–25
- October 28–31, including Halloween
- Dates are subject to change. Your assigned shifts will be confirmed with you.
