One of our clients is currently hiring reliable General Labourers for a warehouse position in Truro, Nova Scotia.

The primary responsibility will be unloading and unstuffing products from overseas shipping containers. This is a physically demanding role involving the repeated handling and movement of resin bags weighing approximately 20 kg (44 lbs) each.

Responsibilities

· Unload and unstuff products from overseas shipping containers

· Handle and move bags of resin weighing approximately 20 kg (44 lbs)

· Repeatedly lift, carry and stack materials safely

· Maintain an organized and clean work area

· Follow workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions

· Work efficiently as part of a warehouse team

· Perform other general warehouse duties as required





Qualifications & Requirements

· Previous warehouse, container unloading, material handling, or general labour experience is preferred

· Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift

· Ability to repeatedly lift and handle approximately 20 kg (44 lbs)

· Reliable and punctual with good attendance

· Able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures

· Steel-toe safety footwear required

· Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/container setting

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
