Duties

- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that align with students’ individual learning needs and curriculum standards
- Deliver clear, engaging instruction in various math topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and more
- Assess students’ understanding through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support progress
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate educational technology and digital resources into lessons
- Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles




- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and session outcomes to track improvement over time

Qualifications

- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of math concepts across multiple grade levels and advanced topics such as computer science is desirable
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational software tools
- Background in special education or experience adapting lessons for learners with unique needs is a plus
- Basic computer skills for creating instructional materials and utilizing online learning platforms

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 25.0 per week
