Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dairy farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing livestock, farm personnel, equipment, and general farm activities while also performing hands-on duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the dairy farm, including livestock care and field work
- Determine livestock requirements and coordinate the raising, breeding, feeding, and care of dairy cattle.
- Organize and coordinate seasonal farm activities, including crop production, planting, cultivating, harvesting, and feed preparation as required.
- hire and manage farm personnel and coordinate daily work assignments.
- Monitor animal health and welfare, identify health concerns, and arrange appropriate veterinary care when required.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, tractors, and other agricultural equipment used for livestock, crop, and general farm operations.
- manage supplies, including livestock, feed, seed, machinery, equipment, and other farm materials.
- Perform and oversee milking operations, feeding, cleaning of barns and equipment,



manure handling, and other routine livestock and farm duties.
- maintain financial, production, livestock, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with farm safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- Perform general farm duties and assist with seasonal, emergency, and other additional duties as required.

Requirements

· extensive experience in dairy farming and/or farm management

· College Diploma in related field (e.g. Agribusiness/Agriculture)

· Experience in managing, handling and caring for livestock

· Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

· Robust organizational and leadership skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Willingness to perform physically demanding and hands-on farm work
