FLORAL PRODUCTION – BOUQUET BUILDER

Though we are a 7-day operation, the anticipated schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm. We are looking for keen individuals to work hard with our great team to prepare fresh cut floral products in a safe, clean and friendly environment. To be successful, you’re adaptable, reliable and flexible. We may be the ‘bunch’ you’re looking for (pun intended) Reporting to the Production Manager, a Bouquet Builder is responsible for producing a high-quality retail-ready floral product matching the specifications provided to you and your team daily. Bouquet Builders are ultimately responsible to ensure a high level of quality of the end product; by ensuring fresh, vibrant and accurate floral product for our customers.

Floral-industry experience is not required. All necessary training will be provided.

What You’ll Do:





· Work as a team with specific product assembly instruction provided by Production Manager daily

· Unpack, prepare and package bunched flowers

· Inspect all products for quality (flower quality, quantity in each bunch)

· Movement about production to ensure maximum efficiency to maintain product freshness

· Clean and tidy workstation at the end of shift

Qualifications:

· Transparent Criminal and Background checks and Bondable

· Some secondary school education required

· Experience in production or assembly considered an asset

· Valuable verbal communication skills to maintain open dialogue with supervisor, and fellow MacArthur’s Employees

· Reliable, punctual and ability to work to timelines

· Ability to load and unload product of up to 25lbs and stand for up to 10 hour shifts

· Positive, friendly and professional customer service skills

· When required, maintains digital records and utilize basic computer skill

- Positive communication skills (listening to and following instructions, conveying information to colleagues and to supervisor/manager)
