Position Overview

Join our team as a Seasonal Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver and play a vital role in our day-to-day store operations and customer delivery experience. In this dual role, you will keep our warehouse organized—handling incoming freight, staging merchandise, and assisting customers with order pickups—while also serving as the friendly, professional face of our store during in-home furniture deliveries.

You will work alongside a delivery and warehouse partner to move, load, and place merchandise safely and efficiently. Tips and overtime opportunities are common during our peak holiday periods.

Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse & Showroom Operations

- Unload Inbound Shipments: Safely unload trailers containing new furniture, mattresses, and appliance inventory.
- Merchandise Handling: Unpack, inspect, tag, and carefully transfer products onto the showroom floor.
- Staging & Customer Pickups: Stage sold orders for upcoming delivery routes and assist carry-out customers by safely loading purchases into their vehicles.
- Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse, staging, and loading dock areas.

Delivery & Customer Service

- In-Home Delivery: Safely transport and carry furniture, mattresses, and appliances into customers' residences alongside your delivery partner.
- Assembly & Placement: Perform light assembly and place items according to customer preferences.
- Equipment Care:



Properly operate moving gear (dollies, ramps, straps, furniture blankets) to safeguard products and customer property.
- Client Communication: Maintain a courteous, polite, and skilled demeanor at all customer touchpoints.

Knowledge & Skills Required

- Physical Capability: Ability to consistently lift, carry, and maneuver heavy goods alongside a partner.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record (a driver’s abstract may be requested).
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a standard criminal record check.
- Safety Gear: CSA-approved steel-toed footwear required (supplied by candidate).
- Customer Focus: Clear communication skills and a neat, professional appearance.
- Dependability: Punctual, safety-minded, and attentive to detail in a fast-paced environment.
