Job Summary

Rosedale Seniors' Living is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse who provides care and support to our Type B & HCC residents. Rosedale is located in downtown Edmonton, we have competitively priced staff parking on site, and the Corona LRT station is an 8-minute walk.

Shift Hours: 8 Hours

The successful applicant shall have chance to pick up additional hours to cover vacations, sick calls etc. As per Collective Agreement

The LPN provides nursing assessment and treatments, medication administration, and provides delegation, supervision and leadership to HCA staff. The LPN ensures safe and quality care is provided to our residents and complies with all legislation, standards, and to the policies and procedures of Rosedale.

Qualifications:

- Experience in supportive living an asset but not required
- Current CLPNA membership in good standing
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector dated within 6 months




- Current CPR certificate and Emergency First Aid Training
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Leadership qualities and skills are an asset
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to handle the physical demands of the position such as push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25–50 lbs; walk / stand for prolonged periods
- Communicate well in English verbally and in writing; demonstrate a positive attitude with good customer service skills

- LPN License with CLHA (required)
- BLS required

1500-2200

- Week 1 - Monday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2 - Friday
