Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, patient, and enthusiastic Kumon Centre Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is organized and attentive to detail, and is committed to creating a positive, calm, and encouraging learning environment.

Kumon Centre Assistants work closely with the Instructor to support students in developing independence, confidence, robust study habits, and academic skills.

Responsibilities

- Grade & correct Math and Reading worksheets accurately and efficiently.
- Record student results, including scores and completion times.
- Prepare & organize student folders, worksheets, and homework assignments.
- Support classroom flow, including student arrivals, departures, and transitions.
- Maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
- Observe students and communicate important progress, difficulties, or concerns to the Instructor.




- Follow Centre procedures and assist with daily classroom operations as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience working with children or teenagers. (asset but not a must)
- Tutoring, teaching, daycare, camp, coaching, or educational experience.(asset but not a must)
- Previous experience as a Kumon student or employee. (asset but not a must)
- Knowledge of the Kumon Math and/or Reading Program.
- French and English language skills.
- Experience working with Early Learners.
