Job Summary

Full time permanent. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations, supporting our ongoing projects and renovation efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, including low voltage and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), while contributing to the success of our construction and renovation initiatives.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work according to specifications.
- Work with low voltage systems, including alarm systems, communication wiring, and security devices.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure.
- Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and implement effective solutions.




- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project deadlines are met safely and efficiently.

Requirements

- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar electrical role within construction or renovation projects.
- Robust ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems, PLCs, and general electrical codes and safety standards.
- Prior handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
