Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Administrator and become the heartbeat of our busy dental practice! With a new clinic on the Horizon This vital role combines administrative excellence with exceptional patient service, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment. As a Dental Administrator, you will coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and support clinical staff—all while maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere that keeps our practice running efficiently and effectively. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will directly contribute to delivering outstanding dental care experiences for our patients.
Duties
- Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Gold, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Greet patients warmly at the front desk, verify insurance information, and handle patient check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring all patient information is up-to-date, complete, and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently to appropriate staff members or departments.
- Assist with billing and coding processes, including insurance claims submission and follow-up to ensure timely reimbursements.
- Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms,
managing supply inventories, and coordinating patient follow-up appointments.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence to keep the office organized and running smoothly.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Gold to streamline scheduling, billing, and record-keeping processes.
- Strong knowledge of Dental terminology relevant to dental care to accurately document patient information.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for handling front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and patient interactions with professionalism and warmth.
- Demonstrated office experience in busy medical or dental environments, showcasing organizational skills and multitasking ability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
