Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. This role requires solid mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Mechanic will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met across our facilities.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they cause breakdowns
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
- Assist in ordering parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance tasks




- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance procedures and efficiency

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact wrenches
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to document work performed and collaborate effectively with team members
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$55.00 per hour
