Agent Development Manager (Remote, NA)

Data Skill Source is hiring an Agent Development Manager, remote (North America), to support a fast-growing conversational AI platform serving enterprise customer experience teams. In this role you'll own the strategy and execution behind deploying AI agents across complex enterprise environments, building the playbook that makes agent builds repeatable and scalable as the platform grows.

This is a hands-on, client-facing delivery role for someone who can take an AI agent build from zero to one, translate a customer's workflows into a working deployment, and bring structure and speed to a fast-paced team. You'll partner closely with the client's Sales, Product, and Engineering teams and work directly with enterprise customers, coordinating remotely with a team that operates in-office.

What You'll Do

- Lead AI agent builds from zero to one, driving execution, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Design agent development strategies tailored to each customer’s goals and technical environment.
- Improve speed, quality, and consistency across agent builds by identifying bottlenecks and introducing better systems, tooling, and automation.
- · Lead with assertion, be data-driven, and help build the world's highest-performing team for developing AI agents.

What We're Looking For

● Technical Fluency: Comfortable with SaaS platforms, integrations, and APIs; you can reason through a technical deployment.

● Organization Under Ambiguity: You bring structure to fast-paced, undefined work without needing every step spelled out.

● Strong Communication: Direct, clear written and spoken English; credible in front of both executives and hands-on operators.

Experience & Skills

● 4+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as implementations, solutions consulting, or in consulting, finance, product, or project management.

● Proven experience leading complex software or AI deployments with measurable results.

● Technical fluency with SaaS platforms, integrations, and APIs.

● Strong operational instincts with experience building scalable processes or playbooks.

● Explicit communicator who can work effectively with both executives and operators.

● Highly organized and comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

● Low ego and team-first. Your success is the team's success.

Nice to Have

● Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Zendesk or Salesforce.





● Experience building a new function or operating model from the ground up.

● Power user of AI tools, using them to increase leverage and drive efficiency gains.

● Basic scripting ability (Python, JavaScript or similar).

Note: Formal titles matter less than demonstrated ability. We care far more about what you've delivered than where you've worked.
