Operations Officer Job with a leading canadian bank

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

- Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Operations team, receiving request for RRIF (registered retirement income funds) withdrawal, reviewing the request, validating the information in compliance with CRA, and processing the requests. High risk setting and compliance heavy as funds are transferred outside of client.
- How much time is being spent in meetings: 30 min a day!
- Who are they interacting with (internal/external)- Internal only
- Will the contractor have access to any customer data? YES!

MUST HAVE Hard Skills: (hard skills and how many years of experience)

1.) 1-2 years of banking/financial
2.) Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Word, Outlook and Excel.

SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Quick learner
2.) Adaptable to change
3.) Tech Savvy

NICE-TO-HAVE

1.) Excel- Macros, VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables
2.) Running power queries

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
