About Us

Cliffshore Excavating Ltd. is a well-established excavation and site services company based in Port Hope, Ontario. We specialize in residential, commercial, and municipal projects across Northumberland and Durham Regions. Our team is growing, and we’re currently looking for an experienced and motivated Pipe Layer to join our crew.

Responsibilities

- Install and align watermain, sanitary, and storm sewer pipe systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, grades, and specifications to ensure proper installation
- Set up and use laser levels and other grade-checking tools
- Inspect pipes for defects and ensure joints are properly sealed
- Assist with excavation, backfilling, and site grading as required
- Work collaboratively with operators, labourers, and site supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety standards

Qualifications





- Minimum 3 years of experience as a pipe layer or in underground utilities construction
- Ability to read grades, blueprints, and operate laser levels
- Knowledge of trench safety and general construction practices
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required
- Safety certifications (Working at Heights, Confined Space, WHMIS) considered an asset

Pay: $28.00–$38.00 per hour (based on experience)
