Timberwood Landscaping is a well-established landscaping and snow removal company, and we are looking for 2 EXPERIENCED (2 winter seasons minimum) skid steer operators to start in November. This position could lead into year round work for the right candidate. Please DO NOT apply if you don't have experience doing commercial snow plowing.

Starting wage is from $26.00/hour to $35.00/hour, depending on experience and reliability. Guaranteed salary available (Pending eligibility). All skid steers are newer models. Most of the time, snow removal shifts will start between 9:00 pm - 5:00 am, depending on when the snow begins. Snow removal shifts last from 8-12 hours, depending on the amount of snow accumulation.

Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to dispatch calls for snow and ice events
- Must be on time for shifts and work in a timely manner without compromising quality
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to explicit snow from our contracted sites
- Record-keeping of all work done through our mobile app
- Ensuring proper use, care and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment (greasing, pre-use inspections)

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 license issued by the Province of Alberta and your own vehicle.




- Must be available and willing to work every time it snows, seven days a week, 24/7.
- Two (2) years of experience doing commercial snow removal with skid steers. Loader experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Motivated and energetic team player with attention to detail and a great work ethic
- Have appropriate winter gear
- Cellphone with data
