Position: Standing Bank Door Security Guard
Location: Ottawa, ON
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Availability Required: All 7 Days of availability Required (Primarily Business Hours)

Job Overview

Sentry Security Group is currently hiring highly disciplined and professional Security Guards for Standing Bank Door Security Guard. This is a strict standing role requiring constant alertness, customer interaction, and proactive risk management.

This is NOT a sitting position. Use of phone for other then work during duty is strictly prohibited.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a visible security presence at bank entrances
- Monitor and assess potential risks before escalation
- Prevent loitering and remove unauthorized individuals (including trespassers and vagrants) from the property
- Greet and assist customers professionally
- Enforce site rules and ensure a safe environment
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports

Requirements

- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long hours




- Strong observation and communication skills
- High level of discipline, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work under strict performance expectations

Experience Required

- Minimum 1–2 years of security experience (MANDATORY)
- Experience in any of the following is an asset:
- Condo Security
- Mobile Patrol
- High-responsibility / high-risk sites
