We are currently hiring a Production Extruder Operator for a manufacturing facility in Woodbridge, ON. The ideal candidate will have previous extrusion manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to monitor production equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load raw materials/compounds into extruders and maintain smooth material flow.
- Monitor extrusion conditions, including temperature, pressure, and speed.
- Inspect extruded profiles for dimensional accuracy, colour, and finish.
- Use measuring equipment such as calipers to verify product dimensions.
- Identify and separate defective products.
- Pack and label finished products according to work orders/specifications.
- Complete required production documentation and checklists.
- Perform routine/light preventative maintenance on extrusion equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation and follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

- Previous extrusion manufacturing experience is required.




- Good/fluent English – verbal and written.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and production orders.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform quality checks.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance from another employee.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive tasks.
- Positive hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish between colours.
- Forklift licence is an asset.

Preferred

- Previous extrusion experience is an asset
- Fluency in English is an asset
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as needed

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
