Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other essential tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

- Assist with basic food preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed
- Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
- Organize storage areas for ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure accessibility and safety
- Assist in setting up dining areas and serving stations when required
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment




- Support the team during busy periods by performing various tasks as assigned

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service workplace is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving roles is a plus
- Previous hospitality experience can be beneficial for understanding customer service standards
- No formal experience required; training will be provided for all necessary skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.60 per hour
