Lead Cleaner

Astra’s Cleaning Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Lead Cleaner to join our growing team.

As Lead Cleaner, you’ll work alongside a team while helping ensure every job is completed efficiently, professionally, and to Astra’s high standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who notices the details others may miss, leads by example, communicates respectfully, and feels comfortable taking responsibility for the overall quality of each job.

Position Responsibilities

- Lead and work alongside a team of cleaners at residential and commercial properties
- Ensure cleaning jobs are completed thoroughly and according to Astra’s cleaning standards
- Assign tasks to team members and make sure responsibilities are clearly understood
- Inspect completed work and identify areas that need additional attention
- Train and support current cleaning team members
- Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and Astra’s expected standards
- Communicate professionally with clients when required
- Report client concerns, property issues, damages, or supply needs to management
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and available
- Help keep jobs organized and on schedule without sacrificing cleaning quality
- Take before-and-after photos when required
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices
- Provide feedback to management regarding team performance and job quality
- Assist with residential cleans, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, Airbnb turnovers,



and other cleaning services
- Step in and help wherever needed to ensure the job is completed properly

- Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to different client locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some mornings and occasional weekends
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- References may be requested

Compensation

Starting wage: $18/hour, based on experience and leadership responsibilities.

As Astra’s Cleaning Services continues to grow, part-time will lead to full-time hours, there will be opportunities for additional responsibility, professional development, and advancement within the company.
