Experienced Dental Receptionist – Brampton
Full-Time In-Person Brampton, Ontario
About the Position
We are an established and growing multi-provider dental practice in Brampton looking for an experienced, friendly and highly organized Dental Receptionist to join our team.
Our office includes multiple general dentists, hygienists and visiting specialty services. We are looking for someone who provides excellent patient service while also understanding the importance of maintaining a productive and well-organized dental schedule.

Key Responsibilities
· Greet patients warmly and professionally.
· Answer and manage incoming calls, emails and patient inquiries.
· Schedule and confirm appointments for dentists and hygienists.
· Maintain an efficient and productive schedule and proactively fill cancellations and short-notice openings.
· Follow up with patients regarding outstanding and unscheduled treatment.
· Process dental insurance claims, estimates and predeterminations.
· Follow up on outstanding insurance claims.
· Collect patient payments and maintain accurate patient accounts.
· Manage recalls and continuing-care appointments.
· Coordinate referrals and appointments for specialty treatment.
· Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
· Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, assistants and other front-desk team members.
· Handle patient concerns professionally and respectfully.
· Help maintain an organized, positive and patient-focused front office.
Qualifications
· Previous dental reception experience strongly preferred.
· ABELDent experience strongly preferred.
· Good understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
· Experience with dental insurance claims, estimates and predeterminations.
· Strong dental scheduling and recall-management skills.
· Excellent telephone and patient communication skills.
· Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office.
· Reliable, punctual and accountable.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
· Comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting to be directed.
