Brampton, Ontario-based family is presently seeking an experienced caregiver to care for 2 children: toddler ans school-age. The position is expected to commence ASAP. Childcare will take place in the employer’s home. Public transportation is accessible.

Specific Skills:
Maintain a safe and healthy workplace in the home; sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant; prepare children for rest periods; keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child; tend to emotional well-being of child; supervise and care for child; prepare and serve nutritious meals; bathe, dress and feed infants and children; instruct child in personal hygiene and social development; and organize, activities such as games and outings for child.

Additional Skills:




Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; as needed, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; and shop for food and household supplies.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Experience: At least 1 year of childcare or related experience is strongly desired. Infant experience is strongly desired.
Other Requirements: Criminal record check required.

Hours: Full-Time
Wage: Higher of $14/hour or Prevailing Wage
