ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced, positive, hardworking, honest, and dependable Store Manager to lead our busy Tim Hortons restaurant.

As the Store Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and develop the team, drive sales, manage labour and costs, maintain Tim Hortons standards, and ensure an excellent guest experience.

You will receive ongoing support from the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Owner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop team members and supervisors to improve product knowledge, service standards, and overall performance.
- Drive sales, labour efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Provide genuine guest engagement and ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and memorable service.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues appropriately.
- Develop a strong understanding of the menu and confidently communicate menu items, promotions, and recommendations to guests.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Always Fresh, Coffee Standards, and company procedures.




- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and restaurant presentation.
- Manage inventory, scheduling, ordering, waste, and food costs.
- Conduct store walk-throughs, audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, suppliers, and senior management.
- Build a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience; fast-food or quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
- Several years of progressively responsible food-service experience, including team leadership, shift supervision, and restaurant management.
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Experience leading and supervising 5–10+ employees during a shift.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable while maintaining service and food-safety standards.
- Strong understanding of labour, sales, food-cost control, inventory, waste management, scheduling, and daily restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in creating positive guest experiences.
- Reliable, punctual, honest, hardworking,



and professional.
- Robust computer and office administration skills.
- Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine desire to work with and engage with people.
- Passion for food, beverages, hospitality, and the restaurant industry.
- Team-player mentality with the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Serv-Safe Food-handler certification and First Aid training are considered assets.
