Residential & Commercial Renovations in the GTA

We are seeking a motivated and dependable skilled construction worker to join our busy residential and commercial renovation team.

We are an established, in-demand company known for prioritizing quality over speed, and due to continued growth, we are looking for a hands-on qualified who takes pride in their craftsmanship.

This role involves supporting and managing a variety of construction projects, performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring projects progress efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid knowledge of construction tools and techniques, and a willingness to continue learning.

This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of construction in both residential and commercial settings. It is well suited to an experienced construction professional who can confidently manage residential and commercial renovation projects from start to finish, deliver high-quality workmanship at every stage, and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure expectations are met and projects run smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Manage residential and commercial renovation projects from start to finish
- Perform hands-on construction work across all project phases
- Lead and mentor junior team members, when required
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, and client expectations




- Identify and resolve construction-related challenges
- Maintain compliance with Ontario Building Code and Health & Safety regulations
- Support skilled trades with tasks when required
- Assist with installations when required (flooring, tile, cabinets, doors, windows, fixtures)
- Assist with site preparation, demo, material handling, and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of team members

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in residential and or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of interior and exterior construction, from framing to fine finishing
- Carpentry background preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Thorough understanding of the Ontario Building Code
- Current knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and requirements
- Physically and mentally fit for demanding construction work
- Professional, presentable, reliable, and responsible
- A positive attitude and commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role Tools & Transportation
- Own and maintain appropriate truck or van suitable for the industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Own all required tools to perform the job

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
