Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our kitchen, helping to prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and ensure everything is ready for service. Duties

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Support cooking staff by preparing basic components of dishes to streamline kitchen operations.
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety regulations and maintain proper storage of ingredients.
- Help with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils regularly.
- Support the team during busy service times by preparing ingredients quickly and efficiently to meet demand.




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for everyone working in or visiting the kitchen.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues and assisting where needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently under pressure during busy hours.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
- A genuine interest in food preparation and a willingness to develop culinary skills within the food industry.

Pay: $17.60-$24.60 per hour
