We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join one of our manufacturing clients near Oakville, ON location.

Pay - $35/hr

Shift - Days

Responsibilities:

- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and machining operations.

- Set up and support CNC machines including lathes, mills, and machining centers.

- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; specifications.

- Select proper tooling, cutting parameters, and machine setups to maximize efficiency.

- Conduct first-off inspections and verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments.

- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.

- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.

- Maintain program documentation and setup sheets.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and downtime

Qualitifications:

- High school diploma required; technical certification or apprenticeship training is considered an asset.

- Minimum 10 years of practical experience operating milling machines.

- Minin 5 years of CNC programming experience with solid proficiency in Mastercam software.
