ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently looking to hire two Admissions Advisor to be a team-oriented members of the admissions team to assist us as we grow, expand and take advantage of the opportunities in front of us. As an Admissions Advisor, you will be a critical component to the admissions department, sales, and marketing. You will work with our students in helping us continue to practice the highest standards in customer service.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

- Develops, plans, and implements recruitment initiatives for programs.
- Provides guidance to prospective students, counsellors, and other stakeholders on admissions policies and procedures
- Collaborates with the Marketing Team to devise marketing tools to support recruitment goals
- Executes and oversees on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities
- Represents the institute at career fairs and other recruitment events
- Manages the admissions database to track and monitor applications files, maintain admissions and application statistics
- Produces and analyzes recruitment and admissions reports, statistics and produces other internal and external reports as needed
- Advises and provides clear, professional, and accurate consultation to prospective students on admissions requirements, the application process, general information about the Institute's programs, and future career prospects
- Responds to prospective student inquiries through phone, email, and in-person advising
- Works with student issues and challenges as well as finance and student loan questions

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

- Admissions recruitment or intangible sales experience preferred
- Background in hospitality and/or culinary industry preferred but not required
- Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals
- 5 years sales experience

- Strong expertise with MS Office as well as field related hardware and software packages and systems for reporting features

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years admissions recruitment or non-durable goods sales experience.
