OVERALL PURPOSE:
To provide safe, accurate and timely delivery and pickup services. Manage the route schedule and day to day operating and business requirements within the route boundaries. Professional and accurate processing of deliveries to meet LOOMIS EXPRESS on-time performance and customer service standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Pick up and deliver packages and freight safely and on time
- Meet service and delivery standards
- Operate and maintain a 1-ton cube truck
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections
- Use handheld scanning equipment for shipment tracking
- Provide professional customer service
- Load, unload, and handle freight up to 70 lbs




- Follow company safety and operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned and as detailed within the CBA & business agreement

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous courier, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License (no Graduated License)
- Clean 5-year Commercial Driver's Abstract
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
- Flexible to work routes assigned

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Must own or be willing to obtain a late-model white 1-ton cube truck that meets company specifications
- Vehicle must be maintained in safe operating condition
