Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Iron Worker / CNC Punching Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Brantford. The successful candidate will operate a CNC-controlled iron worker, follow engineering drawings, and ensure parts are produced accurately according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a CNC-controlled iron worker/punching machine.
- Monitor the computer screen and follow machine instructions throughout the production process.
- Use machine controls and buttons to move through production steps.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements to ensure parts are produced correctly.
- Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16".




- Perform quality checks on completed parts and identify any discrepancies.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating CNC machinery, iron workers, punching machines, or similar manufacturing equipment is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to operate computer-controlled equipment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong measurement skills, including reading a tape measure to 1/16".
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
