Responsibilities

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each dog’s specific needs and breed standards
- Assess each dog’s coat, skin condition, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Handle dogs safely during grooming procedures, demonstrating patience and gentle care at all times




- Assist with heavy lifting of large or heavy dogs to ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and creating a welcoming setting for clients

Experience

- Previous experience in dog grooming or a related pet care role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger dogs or equipment
- Passion for animals with a genuine desire to improve their health and appearance
- Basic knowledge of breed standards, grooming techniques, and safety protocols in a pet care setting
