Agi3 Risk Services is looking for an experienced commercial insurance producer who wants to build a significant book in agriculture and agribusiness.

This is a production-focused role for someone who knows how to find opportunities, earn the confidence of business owners and close commercial insurance accounts.

The opportunity

Your primary market will be commercial farms and agribusinesses across Western Canada.

These are meaningful commercial accounts with exposures that can include:

- farm buildings and property
- machinery and equipment
- commercial automobile and fleets
- liability
- business interruption
- cyber and equipment breakdown
- commercial and agribusiness operations

You will also have the ability to develop selected commercial accounts outside agriculture where they fit Agi3's markets and expertise.

Agi3 has made a significant investment in agriculture. Our platform includes an exclusive farm property and casualty offering, private crop insurance and specialized agricultural risk products. We combine these products with commercial insurance markets, agricultural underwriting expertise and technology designed specifically around commercial farms.

For the right producer, this creates an prospect to build a substantial specialized book rather than compete as another generalist commercial broker.

What you will do

You will own the business-development and strategic client relationship.

That includes:

- Develop and close new commercial farm, agribusiness and related commercial business
- Build a qualified pipeline through your network, referrals,



direct business development and Agi3's agricultural relationships
- Meet with business owners to understand their operations, assets and material risks
- Review existing insurance programs and identify important coverage, valuation and structural gaps
- Work with Agi3's underwriting and service teams to develop strong submissions and placement strategies
- Negotiate coverage, pricing, capacity and terms with insurance markets
- Present recommendations and win new accounts
- Remain strategically involved with your clients while account-service and operational teams support the day-to-day execution

This is a producer role. We are hiring someone who enjoys originating business and wants to be measured and rewarded for building a profitable book.

What we are looking for

You should have:

- 5+ years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience
- Experience personally developing and closing commercial insurance business
- A current general insurance broker or agent licence in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba
- Strong knowledge of commercial property, liability, automobile or fleet and related commercial coverages
- The ability to speak confidently with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Strong relationships, business-development ability and commercial judgment
- The ability to operate independently in a remote environment

Experience with farm insurance, agriculture or agribusiness is a significant advantage.

We are also interested in strong commercial producers whose experience has been in sectors such as transportation, construction, equipment, manufacturing or other asset-intensive businesses and who want to develop a specialization in agriculture.
