Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in using power tools, reading schematics, and performing various maintenance tasks. The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including routine maintenance and complex repairs.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to execute repairs effectively and efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.




- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
