Facilities Cleaner

Casual/Call-in

Seniors Association Kingston Region

Major functions:

· Responsible for detailed cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms) of the building.

· Prepares and sets up meeting rooms for classes, meetings, or various other activities and clean up afterwards.

· Some heavy lifting required (setting-up tables and chairs).

· Supervises evening/weekend rentals at the Seniors Centre.

· Supports departments as required for special events.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 1 years’ maintenance/cleaning experience.

· Strong customer service approach.

· Position is required on call coverage primarily weekends and evenings and some day shifts.

· Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $20.37 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 12.0 per week
