Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: North York, Toronto, ON

Job Description:
Solus Support Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable Cantonese speaking female Personal Support Worker (PSW) with experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury.

This position will support an individual in his home with his family in the North York area of Toronto.

Shifts: 4 hours, 4 to 5 days a week

Rate of Pay: $21.15 plus vacation pay

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respectful, client-centered assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, protected, and comfortable environment
- Maintain general safety and wellbeing of the individual
- Documentation and communication with family
- Support with personal care and transfers if required
- Foster independence, engagement, and quality of life

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from an Ontario recognized program (to be verified)
- Cantonese speaking an asset
- Proven experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)




- A minimum two years related experience
- Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) certification
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (or BLS)
- Current Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Knowledge of person-centered care approaches
- Background in community-based support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs
