Dependable Truck & Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 litre truck-mounted units to 60,000 litre B-train units.

We are currently looking for 12 Volt Electrical Installers for Heavy Trucks upfitting. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical systems, with experience in low voltage applications and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves fabricating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

- Install new 12 Volt electrical assemblies such as truck mounted lights, switches and actuators
- Install and fit air actuated assemblies and airlines




- Pull wires and airlines and harnesses through chassis and body.
- Connect wires and harnesses to cab
- Connect and disconnect truck batteries and necessary electrical wiring.
- Troubleshoot electrical and air system faults
- Provide cut-outs in the cab and body to facilitate equipment mounting
- Read Electrical schematics

Required Skills

- Experience in 12 Volt Electrical systems
- Experience and knowledge of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, impact drivers, hand drills etc.
- **Candidates to have possession of their own hand tools**
