Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our shop team, building and outfitting mobile security trailers and towers. This role is responsible for the assembly, wiring, and preparation of each unit, ensuring every build meets company standards for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with tools, and a commitment to precise workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Assemble and outfit mobile security trailers and towers according to company standards and build specifications
- Install cameras, sensors, power systems, networking equipment, and mounting hardware
- Complete wiring, mechanical assembly, and integration of equipment
- Follow work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and established build procedures
- Identify and resolve build issues during assembly
- Complete required build documentation, checklists, and equipment/serial number records
- Identify and correct deficiencies prior to final QA and testing
- Collaborate with the QA/testing team to resolve build-related issues
- Maintain consistent build quality across trailer models
- Assist with trailer repairs, modifications,



upgrades, and maintenance
- Safely operate shop equipment and tools, including forklifts or telehandlers where trained and authorized
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving trailers and equipment
- Maintain an organized and productive work area

Qualifications

- Experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, electrical work, construction, automotive repair, or a related hands-on trade
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of wiring, low-voltage electrical systems, or networking equipment is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret build instructions, work orders, and BOMs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Working Conditions

- Primarily shop-based work
- Regular use of hand and power tools
- Physical work involving lifting, assembly, wiring, mounting, and movement of equipment
- Occasional outdoor work may be required
