Grand Format Lead

Prolific is looking for a hands-on Grand Format Lead to coordinate and support production across our Grand Format Print and Finishing departments. This is a working lead role for someone who enjoys being active on the production floor, helping organize daily workflow, supporting team members, and making sure jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Print experience is considered an asset, but it is not required. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong manufacturing background, solid leadership qualities, and experience helping coordinate people, equipment, workflow, quality, and deadlines in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily workflow between Grand Format Print and Finishing to help keep jobs moving efficiently.
- Act as a hands-on working lead by assisting with production, finishing, staging, equipment operation, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Support finishing processes such as laminating, mounting, trimming, cutting, heat seaming, SEG preparation or assembly, and other fabrication tasks.
- Review work orders and production specifications to confirm materials, measurements, quantities, orientation, and finishing requirements.
- Monitor quality throughout production and help ensure finished work meets company standards.
- Guide, train, and support team members while promoting communication, accountability, protected work practices, and a clean, organized work area.
- Identify production issues, bottlenecks, material concerns, or equipment problems and help communicate solutions with supervisors and other departments.
- Use basic computer systems to review job information, update production status, communicate job details, and support accurate workflow tracking.





What We’re Looking For

- Manufacturing or production experience is required.
- Experience in print, signage, grand format, wide format, finishing, fabrication, or a related environment is considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience as a lead hand, team lead, trainer, coordinator, or informal leader is preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to guide others, communicate clearly, stay organized, and help keep work moving.
- High attention to detail, strong quality standards, and a safety-minded approach.
- Comfortable reading work orders, following specifications, using measuring tools, and learning new equipment or processes.
- Basic computer skills are required, including comfort using production software, entering or updating job information, and using email or Microsoft Office tools as needed.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Willingness to obtain Forklift certification

Schedule and Wage

This is a hands-on production role based in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable working on the production floor, supporting multiple priorities, and assisting with overtime, evenings, or weekends as production needs require. Wage range: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
