We are currently hiring skilled Injection Moulding Machine Operators to join our client's manufacturing team in Etobicoke. The ideal candidate will have previous injection moulding or machine operating experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor horizontal injection moulding machines and production equipment.
- Adjust shot sizes as required to maintain production and quality standards.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust mold and machine temperatures.
- Monitor and adjust injection speed to ensure consistent production.
- Monitor and adjust mold opening and closing speeds as required.
- Perform mold cleaning and ensure molds are maintained in proper operating condition.
- Perform quality checks and inspect finished products.
- Load materials and make minor machine adjustments as required.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report problems to maintenance.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate production records.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Work closely with team members and maintenance to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and maintain efficient production.

Qualifications





- Previous injection moulding machine operating experience required.
- Experience operating horizontal injection moulding machines is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to make machine adjustments and monitor operating parameters.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying production issues.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Schedule: 12-hour continental rotating shifts

- Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
