About the Role:

The Brick Associate, Merchandising plays a pivotal role in driving the visual presentation and product placement within our retail locations across Canada. This position is responsible for ensuring that merchandise is displayed in a manner that maximizes customer engagement and sales potential while maintaining brand standards. The associate collaborates closely with store management and the merchandising team to execute promotional strategies and seasonal resets effectively. By analyzing sales trends and customer preferences, the role contributes to optimizing inventory levels and product assortment on the sales floor. Ultimately, this position supports the overall retail experience by creating an inviting and organized environment that encourages customer purchases and loyalty.





Minimum Qualifications:

- Some high school, diploma or GED
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related role.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and product placement principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Comfortable following direction and working independently when required
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assigned work within expected time frame
- Implement and maintain merchandising plans and visual displays according to company guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Good attention to detail, organization and accuracy
- Assist in conducting regular floor sets, promotional setups, and markdowns to keep the store presentation fresh and appealing.
- Hands on ability and confidence with assembling and building furniture and other products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Skills:

The Brick Associate, Merchandising : Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with clear verbal and written communication. Comfortable managing time and prioritizing tasks in a quick paced environment, with physical stamina to lift, stand and bend for extended periods. Solid problem solving ability, team orientated mind set. and adaptability to changing priorities. Basic math skills for measurements and inventory counts, along with visual awareness for product presentation and ability to follow planograms. Comfortable using basic tools for furniture assembly, with a strong customer service orientation.
