Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Reporting to: General Manager
Salary: $53,000 to $57,000

What You Bring to the Team:

- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the confidence to make sound decisions.
- Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You're comfortable working with teams across the hotel.
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
- The ability to work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Flexibility to support the team wherever needed and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

In This Role, You Will:

- Assist with preparing daily revenue reports, market segment reporting, and reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy.
- Support daily banking activities, including deposits, cash counts, petty cash tracking, and cash reconciliations.
- Reconcile credit card, debit card, payment gateway, and wire transfer transactions with hotel systems and bank records.
- Review Front Desk, banquet, and other revenue postings to identify and resolve discrepancies.




- Verify loyalty program transactions, vouchers, guest deposits, and tax-related entries for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor payment variances, chargebacks, cash overages, and shortages, escalating issues as required.
- Maintain organized financial records, audit documentation, and supporting files.
- Assist with internal and external audits by gathering information and preparing required documentation.
- Work closely with Accounting, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to support daily operations.
