Job Summary

Chrima Metal Fabrication is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will set up and operate various press brakes, verify part accuracy, and ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. As our company continues to grow, responsibilities may evolve, and the ability to adapt is essential.

Duties

- Operate, set up, and monitor press brake machines to produce accurate bends according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical specifications, and work orders to determine bending requirements
- Use hand tools, calipers, and mechanical knowledge to ensure precise measurements and quality standards are met
- Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for accuracy, surface finish, and overall quality using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, Welding, Machining and assembly tasks
- Assist with troubleshooting machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow

Experience





- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise bending operations
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools
- Experience working with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and performing routine maintenance on machinery is a plus
- Ability to work safely with equipment such as cranes and forklifts; certification preferred but not required

Pay: $22.00-$28.77 per hour
