Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to hire a Assistant Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility in Waterloo, ON

Location: Waterloo, ON

Role: Assistant Machine Operator

Role Type: Temporary - Permanent

Rate: $22.00/hr - $23.00/hr (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Swing Shift: Day's (7:00 AM - 3:00PM) /Afternoon's (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Straight Midnight's: (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

- Support machine operators in loading and unloading parts.

- Performing visual inspections

- Taking and recording measurements, and other duties as assigned.

- Full training will be provided on specialized manufacturing equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum of 1-year successful experience in the manufacturing sector.

- Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing, machine shop, or other mechanical setting.





- Ability to read digital micrometers, calipers and use gauges and to verify part dimensions.

- Proficient English language skills, written and verbal.

- Long-term plan to develop your career in the advanced manufacturing sector.

- Ability and desire to work various shifts.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
