We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Day-to-day Pharmacy dispensary operations, receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide care
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventory
- Educate patients on health management,
including medication administration techniques and lifestyle advice
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Providing clinical services including medication reviews and MACS
Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in retail.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and WinRX pharmacy dispensing software.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Attention to detail for accurate dispensing and record-keeping
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
