Our busy season is coming, and we need one dependable, forklift-certified Shipper/Receiver to keep product moving through our Langley warehouse. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own shipping and receiving end to end — and where showing up reliably matters as much as experience.

About us

West Coast Wear Products Ltd is a B2B distributor of wear parts for heavy equipment — bucket teeth, cutting edges, tire chains, sweeper brushes, and undercarriage components. We supply equipment dealers, industrial suppliers, and contractors across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Ontario. We’re a small team based at 5769 Production Way in Langley, and everyone’s work is visible — you won’t be a number here.

The straight goods on this job

We’d rather tell you exactly what this job is than surprise you in week one:

- It’s physical. Our product is steel — cutting edges, bucket teeth, tire chains. You’ll be lifting boxes, bags, and banded parts up to 60 lb on and off pallets, repeatedly, and you’re on your feet most of the day.
- It’s a seasonal 6-month contract, full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 4:30PM 30–50 hours per week. Some days will be shorter, especially in the fringe periods of September and March. Some days will include overtime, especially in the heaviest part of the season October-January. We need someone who can commit to the full term.
- The pace picks up during peak weeks. Accuracy under pressure is the job — a mis-shipped order costs us a customer.

What you’ll do

- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move product safely.
- Own the shipping and receiving process: check incoming goods against paperwork, pick and pack outgoing orders, and get them out the door on time.
- Prepare daily courier and freight shipments — we ship across Western Canada with carriers like ACE Courier, Van Kam, Bandstra, and Loomis, including collect and prepaid instructions that have to match the order.
- Keep inventory counts accurate and flag discrepancies early.




- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Work directly with the rest of the team to keep orders flowing during our busiest months.

Must-haves

- Valid forklift certification (current, not expired).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada. We are not able to sponsor work permits.
- Able to reliably get to our Langley warehouse (5769 Production Way) for every shift.
- Able to repeatedly lift 60 lb boxes and bags on and off pallets.
- Reliable attendance — we’re a small team, and a no-show hurts everyone.

Nice-to-haves (we can train the rest)

- Experience with inventory or warehouse software.
- Prior shipping & receiving or order fulfillment experience.
- Experience preparing courier/freight shipments and waybills — especially with regional carriers (ACE, Van Kam, Bandstra, Loomis).
