Hours: Monday to Thursday 7-230pm

We are seeking a friendly and effective Cafeteria Worker to join our food service team. This role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and providing excellent customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, kitchen operations, or restaurant environments, and possess strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic cafe setting, contributing to a positive dining experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

- Assist with meal assembly and portioning to ensure quality and consistency
- Operate POS system , cash handling, and order processing
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, and food service equipment through regular cleaning routines. Use of dishwasher
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times
- Provide friendly guest services by answering questions, taking orders, and assisting with special dietary needs
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operation
- Follow health regulations and safety guidelines during food preparation and service

Skills

- Experience in food service environments required




- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic cooking skills and meal preparation experience beneficial
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Experience in food handling, cashiering, or barista roles is a plus
