Role Summary:
This position requires strong administrative skills, a team mindset, and a high degree of problem-solving capacity.

The Project Manager's job is to oversee and ensure that the initiation, preparation, design, execution, monitoring, managing, and closure of a particular building or project are completed successfully.

The Project Manager, in conjunction with the rest of the construction team and the Project Administrator, will be responsible for ensuring that each project assigned to them is completed and handled in accordance with RPH industry-leading standards.
Core Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the exchange of information between the owner, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and others in a professional, concise, and timely fashion.
- Obtain all necessary paperwork, permits, and approvals required to begin work.
- All project correspondence (RFIs, Submittals, Issues, QA/QC, Drawings) should be created and maintained.
- Procurement.
- To ensure project execution, create and keep a comprehensive project budget and schedule.
- Schedule all necessary labour, materials, and equipment with the site supervisor(s).
- Subcontractors, consultants, and site managers should be directed to ensure that their contractual responsibilities are met.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Weekly visits to the project site(s) to ensure that project goal are met.

Daily Responsibilities:

- Keep track of and refresh the project task list with the project administrator (PA).
- Project correspondence through online communication software.
- Procurement (RFP, PO's, Subcontracts, Bills).

Weekly Responsibilities:





- Weekly site inspection and reviews with the site supervisor(s).
- Review schedule, workmanship, safety, and project resources.
- Review/approve labour timesheets through an online software system.
- Weekly project report to Chief Officer(s).

Monthly Responsibilities:

- Before the end of each month, review and approve all subcontract invoices and bills using an online software system to ensure that all expenses are correctly distributed and work is completed.
- Examine the monthly job completed checklist and subcontractor progress drawings prepared by the site supervisor(s).
- Every month's report is due at the end of each month. This report will include a full project summary (budget, buyout, schedule, RFIs, submittals, and issues) as well as a cost estimate.
- At the beginning of each month, attend monthly project review meetings with the project manager's assistant and senior management.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in the construction industry in a management-based role
- Professional and ethical interpersonal skills, ability to resolve conflicts, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must have a G Driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Advance computer skills with software such as Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel, Corecon, MS Project, Auto CAD, and more.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, navigate uneven ground, climb stairs, perform minor physical duties, see, and hear well in changing conditions, and properly evaluate safety measures.

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Preferred)
- Engineering bachelors degree (Preferred)
- Business/Construction Management Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

- Mid/High-Rise Construction: 5 years minimum (Preferred)
- Project Management: 5 years minimum (Preferred)
- License/Certification: G-Level Drivers' License (Required)
