Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with experience in maintaining and repairing various types of construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, trucks etc.

we have a small shop that is solely for repairs and maintenance of our own construction equipment

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Assemble components and systems for heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating heavy equipment





Requirements

- Proven mechanic experience with minimum 5 years heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and automotive repair.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and heavy lifting practices.
- Remuneration based on experience
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail
