Duties

- Greeting guests promptly and courteously as they arrive
- Managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Assisting guests with enquiries and providing information about the venue’s offerings
- Maintaining an organised waiting list and estimating wait times accurately
- Coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow
- Handling phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area




- Addressing guest concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their experience
- Supporting team members during busy periods to maintain high standards of guest service

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in guest services, serving, or front-of-house roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations can be beneficial
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills are essential for success in this role
