We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) to facilitate delivery for multiple courses. The GTA will work closely with the instructor to coordinate and manage logistics, ensure a smooth program flow, and provide general support to program participants.

Available positions for:

- JSGS 801| Governance and Administration |The assigned tasks would be: assist in preparing instructional material for each class; assist in marking assignments and tests. Provide the in-class support to the instructor for 3 exams. September 28th @ 5:30pm, November 16th @ 7:15pm, December 14th @ 5:30pm. The class is offered through zoom, therefore the GTA must be familiar with this software. Strong knowledge of Canadian governance, public administration, federalism, government institutions, and public policy processes through experience or by having completed JSGS 801. | Sessional Instructor
- JSGS 990AB|Public Policy Seminar |The assigned tasks would be: Attend each of the eight 990 sessions, Track attendance, Oversee presentations, discussants, and presenter/discussant matching, Set up the course in Canvas. The sessions are as follows:
September 18; October 16; November 20; December 18; January 15; February 26; March 19; April 16)
- JSGS 8XX| Content Developer| We are seeking a student to interview current students and alumni and create short, engaging social media posts that highlight their experiences. Responsibilities include conducting brief interviews, drafting accurate and compelling stories, and collaborating with staff to ensure content aligns with our brand and communication goals. Strong writing skills, professionalism, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications:





- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Zoom
- Prior experience in event planning, logistics coordination, project management, and hybrid event delivery are strongly preferred
