Canadian Erosion & Containment Ltd. (CEC) is seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver / Hydroseed Operator to join our growing team. This position involves operating and transporting hydroseeding equipment using a Freightliner truck while supporting erosion control, reclamation, and construction projects across Alberta and Western Canada.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Freightliner hydroseeder truck to and from project sites.
- Perform hydroseeding applications on construction, oil & gas, municipal, mining, and infrastructure projects.
- Load, mix, and apply seed, mulch, fertilizer, and tackifier products.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily logbooks.
- Assist with erosion control installations, reclamation work, and site maintenance activities.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned, and operating efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work with project supervisors to meet production targets and schedules.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean abstract.




- Experience operating hydroseeders, water trucks, vacuum trucks, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of hydroseeding, reclamation, landscaping, or erosion control is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work long hours during peak construction seasons.
- Comfortable working on construction and industrial sites.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to travel and work out of town when required.
